PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)
PPS is a strong and rigid material with excellent chemical resistance even at elevated temperatures. PPS has extremely low moisture absorption and very good thermal stability. It has excellent resistance to steam, and very good Dielectric properties.
PPS shapes can be produced by utilizing Extrusion, Injection Molding, or Compression Molding methods. PPS can also be filled with a variety of materials to enhance its performance.
What are the benefits of PPS?
- High Strength and Rigidity
- Outstanding Chemical Resistance
- Good performance in Steam
- Very good Wear Resistance in enhanced grades
- Nearly zero Moisture Absorption
- High Electrical properties
- FDA, USDA, 3A Dairy Compliant (Unfilled Grade)
